Wedding Location

All the events for this weekend will be at Gold Mountain Ranch. The venue is in the mountains at over 9000 feet so while it will likely be warm during the day expect the temperature to drop in the evening to 50’s. The ceremony will be outdoors on a grass lawn and the cocktail hour and dinner will be outdoors on solid surfaces. Please bring a jacket and plan your footwear accordingly.

Local Transportation

For those staying in the town of Ouray, we’ve booked transportation both nights for you to get to and from the venue to your accommodations. The venue has strict rules for those who are drinking, so you won’t be able to drive yourself for the events on Friday and Saturday night. If you need a ride at any other point, please let us know and we can give you the number of the one uber in town!

Parking

There is plenty of parking onsite for those who are staying at the Wilmont house on Gold Mountain Ranch!

Rental Car 

If you are planning on driving to the venue at any point throughout the weekend, you need something with all wheel drive/4 wheel drive. Getting to the venue requires you driving on a steep dirt road with drop-offs. If you are just going to be driving around town, anything should work!

Food

Dinner will be provided both Friday and Saturday nights. It’s a prefixed menu for both nights so if you have any dietary restrictions please let us know!

Drinks

Drinks will be available Friday night and we've hired a bartender for Saturday and plan to have an open bar. Make sure you answer the survey to make sure we can stock the bar for everyone’s preferences! 

Photos & Video

We’ve hired a photographer and second shooter for Saturday night, so we ask that during the ceremony you leave pictures to the professionals. The remainder of the weekend, please take as many pictures and videos as your heart desires. We do not have a videographer, but we are buying a camcorder to take videos throughout the weekend home movie style - if you see it sitting around, please take some videos for us!
